Selvaraghavan, the director of the film, delivered a cult classic, Pudhupettai. Starring Dhanush as Kokki Kumar, who is a prisoner and scared of being alone. The movie is all about the Rise of Kokki Kumar. Selvaraghavan elevated it remarkably, and no wonder this movie is a Kollywood icon today.
